Allied Healthcare Classes |
As a health educator, Phyllis is an herbal and alternative health consultant to allied health professionals throughout the country. Her philosphy supports an integrative approach to well-being and a preventive health model based on healthy lifestyle choices.
She travels extensively lecturing and teaching integrative and herbal approaches at conferences, hospitals, medical schools and symposia. Phyllis is currently a national CEU (continuing education units) provider and a Registered Healthcare Educator. Many of her classes offer CEUs for nurses, nurse practitioners, licensed professional counselors, physical therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapist assistants and occupational therapist assistants. She is also an American Herbalist Guild professional member.
Phyllis is currently serving as the Supervising Herbalist at Common Ground Medical Clinic in New Orleans, Louisiana, helping to build an integrative model of healthcare for future generations. Above all, Phyllis devotes herself to building a bridge between traditional knowledge and modern-day science; to help hold sacred the traditional herbal and healing knowledge that has been handed down from generation to generation while acknowledging the scientific research of today.

Health Consultations |
Phyllis is available for individual, personal health consultations by phone or at her offices in Huntsville or Birmingham, Alabama. Her consultation framework is based on the Self Actualization Support System (SASS), which she uses to develop an individualized plan designed to support good health. SASS is an educational, practical and operational model designed for practitioners to effectively support their clients’ journey toward positive health, helping them reduce risk factors for chronic diseases, improve quality of life and make healthy lifestyle choices.
An herbal or natural health consultation does not replace conventional medical care or the services of a physician. As a supporter of an integrated model, Phyllis believes that both conventional medicine and traditional medicine are needed for reaching health goals. Herbal and natural health consultations are educational tools and should not be used in place of regular medical care. All information obtained is held in strict privacy. Contact Phyllis via email or by phone at 256-586-8654. |
